All routes on the website are viable, legitimate and accessible with clear instructions, directions and parking places.
The individually tailored maps prove to be more up to date than their OS counterparts as well as being simple and easy to read. The walks are also constantly updated, with extra thanks to members and users providing regular feedback – please feel free to do so!
Every adventure includes thorough research into the landscape’s history, legend, folklore and mystery, helping us to understand the surrounding countryside. It is possible to discover Dorset’s real secret treasures, some hidden and untouched for centuries or usually roped off in museums.
A small selection of adventures are available for free, as well as those that are outside Dorset or have received external sponsorship.
The membership costs £7 a month or £70 for the year – working out at around 5p a walk! This will give you access to all the varied adventures into the Dorset countryside, discovering its hidden gems. I also hope that you may even reclaim your annual fee after visiting participating pubs, cafes, cheese makers or art galleries over time and receiving the 10% discount or treat – the list of which I’m hoping to grow.

Those of you that pay the annual fee are eligible for the membership card, creating the ability to support local, rural businesses, and therefore an extra reason or reward for exploring! Please fill in the form, linked on the members welcome page, and allow time for delivery.
